Wen - AGDS Halloween Gamejam 2023

Wen  is a halloween Abertay GameJam project with the theme of "Give".

You find a lonely, dirtied camera next to a pedestal with a closed book gently placed on top, its pages pristine despite being in the open for who knows how long... Surrounded by hellish sky, followed by unimagine horrors, the footage of the camera shows a scene straight out of fiction. Recorded are the last moments of a man, searching through the massacred town for reasons unknown, being followed by creatures that do not belong to this realm. You believe the recording is bestowed upon you and the world, serving as a reminder to not mess with powers you do not understand. The Arcana listens, observes... aiding when you're most in need, or hindering, if you aren't deemed worthy of its blessing.
